THE QUIREBOYS Prepare To Release Charity Single, Continue Work On Covers Album
November 16, 2005Long-running U.K. rockers THE QUIREBOYS will be releasing their new single, "Tears in Heaven", on December 19. The song is a cover of the famous ERIC CLAPTON track and is taken from the band's forthcoming covers album, tentatively due in early 2006. The single, which will be accompanied by a video, also includes the b-side tracks "Everyday" (originally recorded by SLADE) and "When I'm Away from You" (FRANKIE MILLER cover). All artist-related profits will be donated to the Drake Music Project for Multiple Sclerosis and Cancer Research U.K. The artwork from the single can be seen on the intro page to the band's official web site.
